The highlight of the engineering calendar

ENGG Week

ENGG Week is the signature week of the EUS calendar. We kick off with a skate night, then head to Crabbe Mountain for ski night with transportation and ski fees covered. The week culminates at the annual Engineering Gala — an elegant evening of food, recognition, and memories that last a lifetime.

Engineering ingenuity meets friendly competition

Coaster Derby

The EUS Coaster Derby is one of the most beloved annual competitions. Teams of engineering students design and build unpowered coasters that race down a track in Head Hall. A showcase of creativity, engineering skill, and school spirit — all in one afternoon.

For charity, for fun, for pie

Pi Day

On March 14th, students bid to pie professors in the face with whipped cream. The highest bidder gets to pie the professor of their choice. Enjoy delicious pies while watching professors get creamed — all proceeds go to a charity selected by the EUS.

Celebrating the engineering code of ethics

Iron Pin Ceremony

The Iron Pin Ceremony acknowledges the engineering code of ethics and celebrates each student's obligation to uphold honesty, trust, fairness, respect, and responsibility. Each student receives an Iron Pin as a lifelong reminder of these values. A guest speaker shares their journey and what ethical engineering means in practice.
